At age 17 I took a writing class in high school and knew writing was my future. But dreams don't always become reality. My first dream was to become a lyricist but coming from a family of ten with no income potential I graduated and joined the US Army where I spent the next nine years. I always kept my writings near and my dream in my mind. I found Jesus Christ while I was serving in thevmilitary and knew Gid had other plans for me. I left the military at age 26 and entered the ministry where I put my writng skills to use writing sermons and three books. In 2021 I retired and left the ministry for personal reasons. In August of 2025 sitting with my wife of almost 50 years I mentioned, "I should of been a lyricist." She responded by saying, "Why not start now." 15 songs later and here I am, doing what I've always wanted to do. The songs seem to flow from within. Take a listen.
