I believed
Swimming through the cold night sky
That someone would come to meet me
I thought I couldn't go anywhere
Couldn't take even one step forward
So I just endured, waiting for time to move on
I am a star that forgot how to shine
Maybe I was never meant to shine at all
Even gathering faint light
I couldn't be found in this small world
Yet after long silence
I finally found my own star
Even under cold gazes
Even if no one understands
I fly toward that one single star
Looking straight ahead
The trembling me in the twilight is gone
The mocking voices fade into the wind
I am a star that forgot how to shine
Tears scatter and turn into pearls
Even if my wings creak in pain
Even if it burns my body to ashes
Even if it takes endless time
I can't give up
It was too big a dream for me
A longing too far away
You, the untouchable star
It hurts so much, I know it well
I am a star that forgot how to shine
No matter how distant you are
I want to hold my feelings and burn out completely
This is the only way I can live
I can't choose any other path
I still want to believe
That in the end, I can reach you

Trembling back, frozen in the cold
I held you like fragile glass, wrapping you close
Your small hand gently resting on my arm
Like an endless music box, soft and unending
I never knew a feeling could last this long
A love without a title, one I can't swear to forever
A love I never speak of to anyone
I lack the strength to protect it
Yet I dreamed sweetly of living together
Even two who can't fly
I thought we could walk to the unseen end
You, gazing longingly at the sky with quiet sorrow
I knew it all along, yet I kept silent
We were drawing the same future, surely it wasn't a lie
Titleless love
The moment will come someday
The final note strikes the end
I release the arms that held you tight
You turn, surprised, looking up at me
The midwinter moon floating over your shoulder
What was reflected in your trembling eyes?
Our hearts were deeply connected, surely it wasn't a dream
Titleless love
We simply return to where we belong
Even if there's a you I don't know
No matter who you become, it's fine
This one single love, I hold it dear
You, all alone—
I loved you so much it made me want to cry

"Over 10+ years, I've chased my dream of becoming a lyricist in Japan's music industry, but it hasn't happened yet.
I self-published a poetry collection of my unreleased lyrics.

In 2025, I entered the UK Songwriting Competition (Lyrics Only) for the first time and earned a 5-Star rating + Commended Entry.
This inspired me to look beyond Japan.
If my lyrics resonate with you, I'd love for you to add a melody, co-write, or record them.
Let's collaborate!"
