Peace Love Freedom

By William Peachey
Let me tell you about a man that sings
notes are ringing from his guitar strings
he's no preacher and he's not a king
he's just a simple man doing his own thing.

You can see him on the street corner
where he's playing his music and
lot's of people have gathered round to
hear what he has to say.

When he sings about another place
we can drift away and where we drift
peace will riegn we found a place
where peace will riegn.

He's not singing about war cause he
doesn't believe in hate he sings the
songs that give us dreams and sais
it's not too late.

We have to stop living for today
leave something fo those who wait
we have more than enough for
everyone yet nobody can be saved.

When he sing about another place
where as children we once played
if we closed our eyes it is still alive
and love will reign.

We can break these molds that
shape us create a new reality
we can save our children from
war and poverty.

We were all created equal and
that's the way it was meant to be
you can justify your hatred but
don't you bring it down on me.

If we take his hand he will lead
the way far from this fall from grace
to a foreign land where we all join hands
and freedom reigns.

Through the years his eyes have grown cold
he's seen too much and he's getting old
a trail of years have led his soul
all the way to the story he told.

With a friendly cantor his message unfolds
A life is worth more than siver and gold
when he sings about another place
we can drift away and where we drift

it's not too late
Peace love and freedom
It's not too late
no it's not too late.
