I woke up again today.
Now everything's blurry.
Remember a bottle of pills,
and a heart full of worries.
I'm unworthy.
To the people who heard me,
I wish that I could tell them
They don't deserve me.
I wish that I could
Try and apologize
For all of my broken ties,
Lies, and alibis.
I wish that I could rise
Like the tides,
But I'm in disguise
As a guy
Who still has hope in his eyes.
I stay up till it's late,
Yet all I feel this pressure
To put a pen onto a page,
Now with every letter,
I'm getting better.
But it's hard to remember

As time moves on and passes by,
The guy who once had everything in his eyes,
Despite he was never even
Willing to try,
Despised the life
For which he wasn't willing to die,
But not I.
I'm gonna rise
Because the people around me
Give me the strength to make the sound
That's breaking down all my boundaries.
It's how I found me.
I'll never let them tell me they're better.
I can break, but those who love me
Put me right back together!
I had to cast a broken past
