Bought a new lawn mower, no longer need the old one
Still works fine, I wanted something quieter
Didn't want the hassle of trying to sell it
Put a free sign on it, rolled it out to the curb

Free for the taking
Got a new lawnmower
No longer need the one I had
It's yours if you want it

All day I watched from the window, saw a few cars slow down
Some stopped, got out and looked at the mower
By the end of the day, it was still on the curb
I went outside, got the mower, rolled it back into the garage
